  1. Is Iron Gold UF? I've so many on my wishlist, I'll have to think about it! :D

    1. Hi, Leah!

Actually, no, "Iron Gold" is not UF. It's dystopian SF. So, you'd have to pick another, Halloween-related title if you were the winner.

      Thanks for participating!! <3 :)

  2. I would pick Lake Silence by Anne Bishop, because I read that book and LOVED it, so I would love to own a paperback copy to put on my bookshelf.

  5. I'd love to have Vampire Crush. It looks good by the cover!! I've read all of the Charlie Davidson series by Darynda Jones. It's a fantastic series. I'm waiting for the final book to come out. Love me some Reyes. I've also read some of the H.P. Mallory series, it's good too. Thank you so much for the giveaway! Happy Halloween.

    1. Hi, Tanya!

GREAT pick!! I read this one myself several years ago, and LOVED it!! Be sure to check out my review in the "Book Reviews" section!

As for the Darynda Jones series, it's been on my TBR for the longest time now.... I want to start on it!

I haven't read any of H.P. Mallory's books, either, but I thought that cover was cute, so I included it here. But I've checked out her novels on Goodreads, and they look REAL good!!

You're very welcome for the giveaway! Happy Halloween to you, too!! <3 :)

Oh, I haven't heard of that one. I'll look it up on Goodreads. Sure hope it's not scary, as I don't read the horror genre. Lol. But I will DEFINITELY send this book to you if you're the winner!

  10. María! ♥ Thank you so much for taking part in this spooky and wonderful hop another year! And what a fantastic thing that this giveaway ends on my birthday! =D fingers and toes crossed!
Now, I'm not 100% sure about the book that I'd pick if I was the winner, because OMG, there are so many interesting options! One book that's been on my wishlist for months is Hollow city, by Ransom Riggs. I read the first book in the Miss Peregrine's series a year ago, and LOVED it! And I'm dying to continue with the rest of the books, so that's a solid option. But well, there are so many blog posts and videos with book recommendations for Halloween right now, in the bookish community, that I'd have to take a deep look before choosing!
Hope you're doing okay, my friend!! Un abrazo gigante, mucho cariño, and I wish you a happy and spooky Halloween! Enjoy for me as well, since we don't get to celebrate THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR in my country! lol

    1. Hi, Anto!

Oh, you're more than welcome!! <3 <3 <3 I take part in this hop every year, although I don't read the horror genre AT ALL. I much prefer paranormal romance and urban fantasy! But those genres count as Halloween reads, too. And heck, I can read them all year long, as well!

As you know, I have taken a look at this Miss Peregrine series, and it's not my cup of tea at all! Lol. I just don't like anything even remotely scary! But, hey, if this is the book you want, I will DEFINITELY send it to you, if you're the winner! I'm glad you enjoyed the first book!!

Yeah, there are quite a few Halloween-themed books out there! As I stated above, I prefer to read PNR and UF myself, for the Halloween season. :) :)

Yes, I'm doing okay, especially since I have my books and this blog to keep me entertained!! Lol.

I didn't know that Halloween isn't celebrated in Argentina. I guess it must be more of an Anglo-Saxon type holiday, then!

Thanks for the good wishes!! I want to dress up as Hermione Granger, but don't know if I'll be able to.... I have to work on Halloween night, and costumes aren't allowed at school. I was going to sneak one in, though, haha! Well, we'll see....

Thanks for the WONDERFUL comment, and for entering this giveaway!! HUGS!!!! ¡¡ABRAZOS!! ♥♥Mari♥♥

  12. If anyone else was mystified by this page:

    PNR: paranormal romance.
    UF: urban fantasy.

"Which book would you like to win, and why?" I think I would choose the book "Seriously Wicked," since that's a fun-sounding series that I have not read!

    1. Hi, John!

I think that most people entering this giveaway know what "PNR" and "UF" mean, but it's good you pointed this out, for those who might not be aware of the meaning of these initials. :) :)

Oh, I haven't heard of this book, or the series! Yeah, it does sound fun! I'll check this series out on Goodreads!

Thanks for entering the giveaway!! <3 :)

  13. Thanks for the giveaway! And this is a hard, hard choice because UF/PNR are probably my most read genres, sooo... I think I'd jumpstart my collection with the first book in either the October Daye or the Kate Daniels books. Why? Because the October Daye series has faeries, investigations, a great couple, and it does fairly great with diversity. And Kate Daniels? avoids many UF/PNR pitfalls, has a fantastic couple, a witty heroine and great mythology/worlbuilding. They're both amaaazing! <3<3<3
