THE 2012 CHRISTMAS SPIRIT READING CHALLENGE!!



 
Announcing the fourth annual
2012 Christmas Spirit Reading Challenge!!
 
 
This wonderful event will run from
November 19, 2012, through Jan. 6, 2013,
and is hosted by Michelle at her gorgeous blog,
which is dedicated to keeping that
most enchanting season
of the year alive all year long!

Here are the reading levels:
 
Candy Cane: Read 1 book
Mistletoe: Read 2 - 4 books
Christmas Tree: Read 5 - 6 books
 
Additional Levels:
 
Fa, La, La, La Films:
Watch a bunch of, or a few,
Christmas movies...
it's up to you!
 
Visions of Sugar Plums:
Read books with your
children this season,
and share what you read!

You must still complete
one of the main reading

  1. hola amiga! i'm still deciding whether to join the challenge or not lol. i love Christmas. out here, the Christmas season begins September 1st and ends on Epiphany (January 6, 2013). i think we're one of those countries that celebrate the longest Christmas :)
    i read The Christmas Brides a couple of years ago and i enjoyed it!

    How WONDERFUL that you guys celebrate Christmas over such a long period! I wish it were like that here... The Christmas season is my FAVORITE time of year. I'm always so sad when it's all over...the decorations, the gorgeous music, the anticipation, the gift giving...it's all BEAUTIFUL!!

    In Hispanic countries, the season does extend until Epiphany. In fact, the tradition is that the Three Kings are the ones who bring the gifts, not Santa Claus. I LOVE Santa Claus, but wish the season would end after Epiphany, anyway, just to hold on to it longer...lol.

    I'm glad you're recommending THE CHRISTMAS BRIDES! The cover pulled me in right away. Now that I have your recommendation, I know I'll definitely like it as well!

    Oh, I wouldn't miss this for the world!! I LOVE this challenge!! So you can rest assured that I will always set aside time for it every single year. The Christmas season is my absolutely FAVORITE time of year!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

    I know I've picked some terrific books, and will definitely enjoy reading them.
