Sunday Post No. 2

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It gives us bloggers the opportunity to share our news, on and off our blogs! We can post about our most recent blog posts, books acquired, and anything else we'd like to share with our fellow book bloggers. Although this is a weekly meme, bloggers can participate on a monthly basis, if they so desire. For the hop rules, click HERE. To link up to this week's post, please click on Sunday Post, 1/15/17.

Last week, I participated in this meme for the first time, and posted some pictures from our recent trip to Key West. Well, here are MORE pics!

Do tune back in next week, because I will be posting more pics. I am IN LOVE with Key West!! This was not my first visit, but it WAS my longest. Besides, I now have an Android phone with an EXCELLENT camera, so I was able to snap away to my heart's content! Lol.

For those of you (and that includes me!) who are SF & Fantasy fans, this is an INCREDIBLE find!! Although I much prefer to read physical books, I simply could NOT pass this up when I discovered the link on Facebook the other day! All of the books you will find HERE are FREE!! They are all available immediately through InstaFreebie. So beam on over!!

I have gleefully acquired the following titles!

The last book, The Backworlds, has a different cover on the InstaFreebie link. I much prefer this one. Besides, this book is also available in paperback, with the cover above. If I enjoy reading it, I will later buy the paperback, of course! (Yeah, I do crazy bookworm stuff like that.)

  3. It was 5 degrees Fahrenheit here a week ago. The nice weather seems to ooze out of those pictures :)

Many of those science fiction books look good. I also like the cover art on a lot of them, particularly for A Threat of Shadows, Independence, and The Lost Colony Series.

    1. Hi, Brian!

OMG!! FIVE degrees?! Gee, I don't know if I could take that, in spite of everything I've said about wanting to see snow. Lol. The weather was indeed nice when we were in Key West, although a bit warm during the day. At night, it cooled down enough for me to wear my new "Star Wars" hoodie! I was very happy about that!

Yeah, these books look really good!! And I think I'll feature the cover of "A Threat of Shadows" in my next "Shelf Candy Saturday" post! I LOVE it!!

Thanks for the wonderful comment!! :) :) :)

  4. I was I was in the Keys. Magic Awakening looks pretty cool :)

      Thanks for commenting back!! <3 <3 :) :)

  5. LOL, dang smartphone. I wish I was in the Keys :(

    1. Hi, again!

Yeah, sometimes our smartphones are really NOT that smart. Lol.

I hope you'll be able to get down to the Keys sometime in the future, Kim! It's a truly GREAT experience!

      Thanks for commenting again!! <3 <3 :) :)

  6. Yay more pics! Love seeing Key West anytime! I love fresh fish and I imagine there's some good fish places down there?

Nice scifi discovery! There's some fun looking books there...

Will look forward to your Mystery Blogger Award post! :)

    Have an amazing week!

    1. Hi, Greg!

I think I'll be posting more KW pics for a while, lol. I have SO many!

Oh, yeah, there are DEFINITELY some GREAT fish places down there! We didn't eat any fish, though, as it's VERY expensive there. Maybe on our next trip, we will, though!

Glad you like my scifi discovery! I might be getting more books. These are the ones that called out to me right away!

I'll probably be posting the Mystery Blogger Award post on Tuesday. Or I might do so tomorrow. Stay tuned!! :)

Hope you have an amazing week, as well!! Thanks for dropping by and leaving such a nice comment!! :) :) :)
