Here's my choice for this week!

Christmas Romance, Historical Romance

Why do I love this cover?

To say that this cover is beautiful is definitely an understatement!  It is absolutely perfect in every way!  This holiday scene looks like a Christmas card, or a scene from a movie.  Incredibly, the male model is the spitting image of Harrison Ford, in his younger days.  He is so tenderly putting the young woman's cloak around her shoulders, too...and it sure looks as if he might kiss her at any moment...so romantic....

The colors in the cover are very vivid, making the scene so real it seems as if the two people will start moving any minute, if you stare at them long enough.  The gown worn by the female model is exquisite, and so is her red cloak.  The Christmas wreath on the lamp post in the top right-hand corner picks up the color of the cloak, as does the horse's harness, which is adorned with a red bow.  These are nice touches that also move the eye around the composition.

I love the gently falling snow, as well as the bright reflections of the lamp posts, seen on the glistening, wet street behind the couple.

This cover is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen on a Christmas-themed romance novel!  I own this treasure, and love the content as much as the cover!

Unfortunately, I don't have any information on the cover artist or designer.  With few exceptions (such as The House of Comarré series), companies that publish mass market paperbacks don't provide information about their cover artists.  It's too bad, because I'd love to know who created this particular jewel!  However, it can be enjoyed just the same, and it certainly helps to bring in that wonderful Christmas cheer!

What do you think of my choice?
What beautiful cover(s)
are you featuring this week?
