A thrilling, seductive new series from New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas, blending Beauty and the Beast with faerie lore.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!

There is danger in dreaming. But there is even more danger in waking up.

Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.

The trick with found things though, is how easily they can be lost.

Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.

Seventeen-year-old Raine Cooper has enough on her plate dealing with her father’s disappearance, her mother’s erratic behavior and the possibility of her boyfriend relocating. The last thing she needs is Torin St. James—a mysterious new neighbor with a wicked smile and uncanny way of reading her.

Raine is drawn to Torin’s dark sexiness against her better judgment, until he saves her life, and she realizes he is different. But by healing her, Torin changes something inside Raine. Now she can’t stop thinking about him. Half the time, she’s not sure whether to fall into his arms or run.

Scared, she sets out to find out what Torin is. But the closer she gets to the truth the more she uncovers something sinister about Torin. What Torin is goes back to an ancient mythology and Raine is somehow part of it. Not only are she and her friends in danger, she must choose a side, but the wrong choice will cost Raine her life.

Seventeen year old Kris Young is on the run from a throng of superhuman golden-eyed freaks hell-bent on seeing her dead, and she doesn't know why. Good thing she has her guardian angel to protect her...sort of.

Kris is aided by Nathan, the mysterious man that ends up being anything but angelic when he rescues her for the fourth time in fourteen years.

As the body count rises in their wake, Nathan introduces Kris to a world in which not everyone is human and the battle lines between good and evil are clearly drawn. Kris's piece in the puzzle is something neither is aware of and, as they uncover the truth, neither is prepared for what they find. Overcoming twists and revelations that shatter both of their lives, they discover that nothing is as it seems and nothing, least of all their hearts, are safe.

From debut author, Desni Dantone, Ignited is the first novel in a tale of first love, mystery and adventure that will introduce you to an exciting new world as Kris discovers how she fits in it.
Maggie is a seventeen-year-old girl who's had a bad year. Her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has.

Then she meets Caleb.

She saves his life and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing but she is supposed to be on her way to a date with his cousin. But things change when they touch; sparks ignite. Literally. They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she's ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive. Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb's enemies know he's imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him. Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another?

Crystal Frost has spent her whole life believing she's ordinary, and her mother has long held the secret of her heritage. When Crystal begins seeing the ghost of a dead classmate, her life spirals out of control. She’s faced with the threat that everyone will find out she’s a freak, as if the struggle to figure out her new-found abilities wasn’t enough pressure. Crystal has to find some way to save the people who have come to her for help all while trying to keep her abilities a secret. Will she be able to fulfill these overwhelming demands while solving the mystery that is the ghost of Olivia Owen?

  1. Fire in Frost has a beautiful cover. Glad to see that you are using your Kindle More. A Court of Thorns and Roses is a great book. I hope you love all of your new books.

  2. Hi, Grace!

Oh, I ADORE the cover of "Fire In Frost"!! I recently featured it in one of my Shelf Candy Saturday posts, too.

Actually, I don't have a Kindle, but a Kindle app. on my Android phone. Lol. And I already have about 100 books on it. I'm a bit short on money at the moment, so I've been buying a lot of cheap Kindle books, or getting freebies. I've seen some books costing $9.99 and more. I totally refuse to pay that much for an e-book. For that price, I do want the real thing!

But I'm much more accepting of Kindle books than I used to be.....kinda. Lol.

Thanks for dropping by and commenting!! : )

  3. I haven't read the Raven Cycle, but I love joining in a series when there are already a few books written.

You have some really PRETTY covers! I've put Eden's Creatures on my Kindle. :) Thanks for the tip!

  4. I agree. There are some books you just need to hold in your hands and be able to flip through the pages. mmm. Enjoy your haul.

  5. Hi, Zen!

Oh, I'm such a sucker for pretty covers......and I love all of these!

I've been wanting to read both of the printed books here for quite a while now. I can start on "A Court of Thorns and Roses", but I still need the second book in the Raven Boys series.

I'm currently reading "Eden's Creatures", and it's really good. You're very welcome for the tip!

Thanks so much for commenting back!! : )

  7. You certainly have some great covers this week and I will have to check some of them out. Eden's Creatures looks intriguing. Hope you enjoy all your books. I read ACOTAR when it was first released. I really enjoyed the last 1/3 or so...just found Feyre annoying.

  8. Hi, Barb!

Yeah, these covers sure do ROCK! The stories behind them are great, too! "Eden's Creatures" is really good. I'm currently reading it for a blog tour review.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy ACOTAR that much. I've heard a lot of raves about it, so I'm all excited about reading it! Well, thanks for letting me know about Feyre. Who knows, maybe I'll find her annoying, too. Lol.

Thanks for the visit and the comment!! : )
