Seventeen-year-old
Raine Cooper has enough on her plate dealing with her father’s

mysterious new neighbor with a wicked smile and uncanny way of reading
her.

Scared, she sets out to find out what Torin is. But the closer she gets to the truth the more she uncovers something sinister about Torin. Seventeen year old Kris
Young is on the run from a throng of superhuman golden-eyed freaks
hell-bent on seeing her dead, and she doesn't know why. Good thing she
has her guardian angel to protect her...sort of.
Kris is aided by Nathan, the mysterious man that ends up being anything but angelic when he rescues her for the fourth time in fourteen years.
As the body count rises in their wake, Nathan introduces Kris to a world in which not everyone is human and the battle lines between good and evil are clearly drawn. Kris's piece in the puzzle is something neither is aware of and, as they uncover the truth, neither is prepared for what they find. Overcoming twists and revelations that shatter both of their lives, they discover that nothing is as it seems and nothing, least of all their hearts, are safe.
From debut author, Desni Dantone, Ignited is the first novel in a tale of first love, mystery and adventure that will introduce you to an exciting new world as Kris discovers how she fits in it.

Fire in Frost has a beautiful cover. Glad to see that you are using your Kindle More. A Court of Thorns and Roses is a great book. I hope you love all of your new books.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
Hi, Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh, I ADORE the cover of "Fire In Frost"!! I recently featured it in one of my Shelf Candy Saturday posts, too.
Actually, I don't have a Kindle, but a Kindle app. on my Android phone. Lol. And I already have about 100 books on it. I'm a bit short on money at the moment, so I've been buying a lot of cheap Kindle books, or getting freebies. I've seen some books costing $9.99 and more. I totally refuse to pay that much for an e-book. For that price, I do want the real thing!
But I'm much more accepting of Kindle books than I used to be.....kinda. Lol.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting!! : )
I haven't read the Raven Cycle, but I love joining in a series when there are already a few books written.
ReplyDeleteYou have some really PRETTY covers! I've put Eden's Creatures on my Kindle. :) Thanks for the tip!
I agree. There are some books you just need to hold in your hands and be able to flip through the pages. mmm. Enjoy your haul.
ReplyDeleteHi, Zen!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm such a sucker for pretty covers......and I love all of these!
I've been wanting to read both of the printed books here for quite a while now. I can start on "A Court of Thorns and Roses", but I still need the second book in the Raven Boys series.
I'm currently reading "Eden's Creatures", and it's really good. You're very welcome for the tip!
Thanks so much for commenting back!! : )

You certainly have some great covers this week and I will have to check some of them out. Eden's Creatures looks intriguing. Hope you enjoy all your books. I read ACOTAR when it was first released. I really enjoyed the last 1/3 or so...just found Feyre annoying.
ReplyDeleteHi, Barb!
ReplyDeleteYeah, these covers sure do ROCK! The stories behind them are great, too! "Eden's Creatures" is really good. I'm currently reading it for a blog tour review.
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy ACOTAR that much. I've heard a lot of raves about it, so I'm all excited about reading it! Well, thanks for letting me know about Feyre. Who knows, maybe I'll find her annoying, too. Lol.
Thanks for the visit and the comment!! : )
