My Answer
Oh, I will have to say it's The Twilight Saga! I have not only read all four books, but am now on my third reading of them! Actually, I've read the first book four times already -- the first three times in English, and the fourth time in Spanish.
I just can't get enough of these books! Sigh....
There's actually a fifth book, titled The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, but I'm not at all interested in that one. This book focuses on a minor character introduced in Eclipse, the third book of the Saga. The story is told from her perspective, and it's not a very happy one...

Here's another series I love! I haven't quite finished it, though... I ran into a traumatic event in the sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I had read half the book, but was unable to continue. However, I am mentioning this series here because, had it not been for J.K. Rowling's very unexpected (and, I think, totally unnecessary) plot twist, I would definitely have finished the series, because I love, love, love it! Thanks for throwing a monkey wrench in the works, J.K.! Why did you have to do that?!

I have the hardcovers of these books, but, since I love them so much, I might very well buy the paperbacks, too. I've also been thinking of buying the British hardcover edition. After all, that's what I've done with The Twilight Saga; I have several editions of the series!
Sounds like you are a true fan when you buy them in a couple of forms! I must read the Harry Potter books at some point.
ReplyDeleteHey, Kathryn!
DeleteYeah, I'm REALLY obsessed!
The Harry Potter books are terrific! You definitely MUST read them!!
Thanks for the visit and the comment!! :)
Yeah for Harry Potter! Twilight is addictive too but I personally prefer the eye candy in the movies. Have a great weekend! Old follower.
ReplyDeleteHey, Whitney!
DeleteI must really try to finish the Harry Potter series....Hope I can get over that "plot hump".
I find Twilight addictive in both versions! And, of course, I'm DEFINITELY "Team Edward"!!
Hope you have a great weekend, too!! Thanks for the visit and the comment!! :)
I love HP and Twilight too!

Hi, Eveline!
DeleteYAY!!!! So glad you do!! Thanks for visiting and commenting!! :)
Glad I'm not the only one who has multiple copies of the Harry Potter books. I've got UK child and adult covers, special edition hard covers and half a set of US covers. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteTasha @ A Trillian Books xoxo
Hi, Tasha!
DeleteWell, actually, I have multiple copies of The Twilight Saga, and want to do the same with the Harry Potter series. I also have several editions of The Lord of the Rings.
I'm sure there are more people with several editions of favorite books, although we might be a minority. Who knows? Some bookworms are also pretty obsessive bibliophiles!
Hope you have a great weekend, too! Thanks for the visit and the comment!! :)
You must finish the Harry Potter books!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy Hops
Hey, Vonnie!
DeleteYeah, I know....I'll try to get back to book 6 and see if I can get past that stupid "plot hump"...
Thanks for visiting and commenting!! :)
Loved HP, I enjoyed the third and fourth book of Twilight more than one and two. Following on Google+

Hey, Ashley!
DeleteYeah, the Harry Potter series is incredibly AWESOME!! As for The Twilight Saga, my favorite book is the first one, although I do love the entire series!!
I think I've followed you back on Google +, but I'll check just to make sure.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting!! :)
i enjoyed The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner but it wasn't as good as the other books. i do need to read harry potter and i'm curious to see how the twist ruins it :)

Hey, Jen!
DeleteI know that's a very sad book not only because of the title, which makes it very obvious, but also because Bree appears very briefly in "Eclipse", disappearing immediately.
The Harry Potter series is GREAT! It's not that the plot twist entirely ruins the series. I had a very personal reaction to it. Maybe it wouldn't affect you as much. Who knows? Try it and see!
Thank you so much for visiting and commenting back!! :)
What is the "plot hump" that you didn't like that you weren't expecting?

Hi, Heather!
DeleteWell, it would be a major spoiler if I told you. For me, it was a very tragic event. I cried and cried for a good ten minutes, and couldn't go on with the book even after I had calmed down. I haven't been back since. I will try to finish the book, though, and go on to book 7. I can at least try.
Thanks for commenting back, and following with bloglovin!! I'm going to follow you right back!! :)
Curses to people who haven't read Harry Potter yet! LOL... I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about though.
DeleteMy problems with the series actually came in the last book... that's where a lot of stuff felt sort of crammed in to me. Honestly... my advice would be "If you think you just can't get through the last two books... just read the last chapter of the last book" it's a sort of wrap up, and it's cute. :)
Oh, geez! How did that old curse go again? I'm sure that sleazy excuse for a human being, Snape, would know! (Although I think he ends up having been a good guy all along....go figure THAT one!)
DeleteI'm going to try to go back and finish that book, and go on to book 7. I'm a perfectionist, so I don't want to leave the series unfinished. I will definitely try.
Thanks for commenting again!! :)
I only read Twilight...none of the other books, and I have never read a Harry Potter book. OUCH...someone threw something at me. :)
ReplyDeleteI am late with my visit, but better late than never, right? :)
Happy Hopping!!

My Blog Hop Answer
Hey, Elizabeth!
DeleteOh, you should read the rest of the books!! The whole series is one big romantic story!! I know I'll be re-reading it more times in the future, too!!!
As for Harry Potter, you need to read that series, as well. But be warned, something really sad happens in the middle of book 6, which is why I haven't quite finished the series.
So someone threw something at you? Lol. Get these books read!
Thanks for the visit and the comment! And yes, better late than never!! Happy Reading!! :)
