Five Form Questions
1. Favorite song?
Gosh, I have so many! But I'll try to narrow it down...let's see...Well, the very first one that comes to mind is "My Immortal", by Evanescence, so I'll go with that one. It never fails to move me deeply.
2. Favorite dessert?
I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but when I do crave something sweet, I usually go with ice cream. I try to get one of these two flavors: either butter pecan or pralines and cream.
3. What ticks you off?
I have two pet peeves. The first one is starting a book that I was looking forward to reading, only to find foul language on every other page. The second one is reading a poorly-edited book. I hate having to 'correct' words or sentences mentally as I read.
4. Biggest fear?
Not being able to read all the books I want to read before I check out of this world...
5. Everyday attitude?
I always try to be nice to everyone around me, which is not always easy, since there are people who are not nice back!
Five Random Facts About Maria
1. For those who don't already know, my all-time favorite color is blue! My husband just bought a pair of Nike high-tech sneakers, and I raved when I saw them, because they're black with the most gorgeous blue accents, plus the laces are blue! The soles are also blue and black.
2. I won't buy a new book if it has a remainder mark on it. I hate those! I'll pass on the book even if it's discounted, and buy another at full price that doesn't have the remainder mark.
3. I love Christmas so much I have been known to take down my Christmas tree in July...
4. I'm a night owl. I love to read or blog until at least 2:00 AM, and get up at noon the next day! (Of course, I can't do that during the work week!)
5. I prefer to get a gift card for my birthday and on Christmas Day, so that I can spend the money on my crazy passion -- books!!
You're welcome, Maria! Great answers! I had fun reading through them. "My Immortal" is a great song. Do you change up your Christmas tree ornaments as the seasons change or do they stay the same? ;) That's awesome you're that festive, I wish it were Christmas every day.

oh, I love your question about the Christmas tree ornaments! Lol. Naw, I keep the same ornaments on until I take the tree down. What happens to me is that I actually feel depressed when the holidays are over. All that glow, peace and love of Christmas... All the festivity... I'm VERY attached to Christmas, which is my favorite holiday! So I keep putting off taking the tree down...of course, my Nativity scene also staya in place, right underneath the tree. In fact, even as I'm writing this, everything is still up! I've made up my mind to put everything away this weekend, since I've taken some days off work! After all, the Christmas glow is long gone by now... I know this is a bit crazy, but there it is! My one big eccentricity, aside from hoarding books! Lol!
