Welcome, welcome to Finale, the third and final book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Caraval series!
Welcome, welcome to Caraval...all games must come to an end.

It’s been two months since the last Caraval concluded, two months since the Fates have been freed from an enchanted deck of cards, two months since Tella has seen Legend, and two months since Legend claimed the empire’s throne as his own. Now, Legend is preparing for his official coronation and Tella is determined to stop it. She believes her own mother, who still remains in an enchanted sleep, is the rightful heir to the throne.

Meanwhile, Scarlett has started a game of her own. She’s challenged Julian and her former fiancé, Count Nicolas d’Arcy, to a competition where the winner will receive her hand in marriage. Finaly, Scarlett feels as if she is in complete control over her life and future. She is unaware that her mother’s past has put her in the greatest danger of all.

Caraval is over, but perhaps the greatest game of all has begun―with lives, empires, and hearts all at stake. There are no spectators this time: only those who will win...and those who will lose everything.
. .

Why I can't wait for this one!

I own a copy of the first volume in this series, titled Caraval. Of course, I need to read it, and then move on to the second volume, and then this one!!
This series is supposed to be AWESOME!!

  1. This plot description sounds different and unique. So many fantasy books these days follow certain formulas. I read the plot description of this one and it seems like it incorporates a lot of originality into the plot. If you read this series I would love to know what you thought of it.

    1. Hi, Brian!

Yes, you're right; there are certain tropes in fantasy writing, as there are in other genres. And I agree -- this series does sound original and unique.

As I do own the first book, I hope to be able to read it sometime this year, bo be followed by the other two! Crossing my fingers....lol.

Thanks for commenting!! Enjoy your day! <3 :)

  2. I hope you read Caraval soon and LOVE it! I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but Finale follows a different main character whom I liked more. So hopefully it'll be an improvement! Caraval's lead - Scarlett - isn't great. But Tella is awesome :)

  5. I’m afraid I haven’t heard of this trilogy, but it sounds intriguing. So many characters! Is the story seen from individual viewpoints or what?

Sorry for the late reply....:( As yo know from my BBH post, I've gotten behind again, and it's all because of work! I might have to take a blogging break....BOO-HOO....

This is a YA trilogy. The first book, "Caraval", is supposed to be AWESOME!! I do own it, but haven't read it yet. Of course....lol.

In order to answer your question about this book, I would have to go looking for it in my not-so-small personal library. Not quite sure exactly where it is.....lol.

      I hope I find it soon! :)

      Thanks for commenting!! HUGS!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
