I'm SO glad you're happy!! I would be, too! This is a VERY BEAUTIFUL cover, and the plot is just GREAT!!
The colors in this cover are just magical! And I agree with you about "the desert in the night". I LOVE the combination of the abstract design and the more realistic, but still, not TOO realistic, little scene depicted in the middle of the cover. And the fact that this cover has shades of BLUE makes me love it even more!! (As you know, blue is my favorite color.)
I've already ordered the book for you. Also, I ordered the paperback, because, as you know, the cover of the hardback edition of the second book doesn't match the style of the first, which I find VERY FRUSTRATING!! I like it when the design style of covers of books in a series match. And that's only logical! This is how an author can establish their "brand". Right? But publishers can be VERY AGGRAVATING in this regard!!
I'm thinking of ordering the paperback myself, BTW. I already have the hardback, but I also own the paperback of the second book, as I do NOT LIKE the cover of the hardback! So I'm thinking about it. Lol.
