Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, a new play by Jack Thorne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The play will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on July 30, 2016.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

  53. Hi, María!

Indeed, Thanksgiving should be celebrated worldwide! ♥ Even though we all go through some difficult moments sometimes, we all have people and things to be thankful for, and we should take the time to express our gratitude towards them.
Personally, I'm thankful for my family. Small one, with lots of problems, but they are my family, and I cannot imagine my life and my world without them. I'm also thankful for my four dogs - I'm a pet lover, and these babies make me smile even if I'm having a though day! On a more bookish note, I'm thankful for books, of course. Sometimes reality sucks, and they've always been a way to escape for some hours, travel to places I'm pretty sure I'll never get to visit and meet awesome characters. And how can I not be thankful for them, if they've made me know some amazing readers and friends!
And last but not least, I'm thankful for this amazing giveaway! We're big fans of the Harry Potter series in my house, and winning this book would be heavenly! =D

Un abrazo grande, un gracias aún más grande... And happy Thanksgiving, María!!!! ♥

    1. Hi, Antonela!

I'm so glad you agree that Thanksgiving should be celebrated world-wide! We all definitely have things to be thankful for!

I'm so glad you have a wonderful family! And how adorable your dogs sound! I'm a horse lover myself, but sadly, don't have a horse.... I can understand how your fur babies make your days TERRIFIC!!

Books, of course, are a GREAT thing to be thankful for!! Like you, I LOVE to escape reality through them! I agree with you about the wonderful places and characters we can get to know through books. I still remember how mesmerized I was by the city of Prague as described by Laini Taylor in "Daughter of Smoke and Bone"!! I would LOVE to visit this city, but doubt that I ever will.... Thanks to this AWESOME author, though, I have felt its magic!!

I'm a Potterhead myself, so I can imagine how psyched up you are about the chance of getting this book! I have my own copy, which I bought during a Barnes & Noble midnight release party here in Miami. I need to get to it!!

You're very welcome for the giveaway!!! <3 :)
