Welcome to
Stacking The Shelves!!
This is a weekly event hosted by Jennifer, Lili,
Stephanie, Jon, and Tynga @
As the title implies, this is all about
sharing the books you're adding
to your shelves, be they physical or virtual.

Here's this week's haul!!
Books Purchased
Amanda Ashley is one of my favorite
paranormal authors. I read this one a long
time ago, but misplaced it. I just needed
to get another copy to re-read!
The original Star Trek series is
my absolute favorite!
Since I happen to be an obsessed Trekkie,
I definitely had to make this book part
of my collection! I just
can't get enough of this series!!
This is a nice combination --
science fiction and romance!!
Well, I love the cover, so the story
inside will hopefully be great,
as well!
Here's another one from Amanda Ashley
that I want to re-read!
(Yes, I misplaced it, too......I have
a huge library!)
I bought the one with this cover
because I prefer it to the
newest cover, which is shown below.
In case anyone likes this new cover,
I have provided the
"Add toGoodreads" button.
I would like to get as many Star Trek
(the original series)
books as I possibly can!!
I love this series just as much as I do
The Twilight Saga!!
This is an analysis of The Twilight Saga
from a Christian perspective.
It's gotten mixed reviews, but I'd
still like to give it a try, just to see if I
agree with the author's views.
I can't believe I still haven't read the
last volume of this series!
I already have the gorgeous US cover,
and now I also have this
equally gorgeous one,
which is for the Australian edition
of the book!
What do you think of
my treasure collection?
What awesome books did you stack
on your shelves this week?
Linnea Sinclair is awesome. Gabriel's Ghost was amazing.Read it before I started book blogging.

Hi, Grace!
DeleteYes, I've heard she's fantastic! I came across "Gabriel's Ghost" on Goodreads, and loved the cover so much I just had to get it! Now that I know you enjoyed it, I do think I will, too!
Thanks for commenting back!! : )
Nice haul this week. I haven't really heard of many of these before, they all look really interesting though. Jana Oliver's books are ones I see at work at lot and I have been tempted to try them myself. I hope you enjoy all your reads this week :) Here's my STS.
ReplyDeleteHi, there!
DeleteI think I did very well this week, too!
You should really try reading Amanda Ashley. Her vampire romances are very sweet and romantic.
As for Jana Oliver, I didn't quite like "The Demon Trapper's Daughter" (aka "Forsaken") at first, but it REALLY grew on me, and I ended up loving it! Then I went on to the second and third, which I also loved! So I have to get going on this last one.
I'll be sure to go visit your STS. Thanks for dropping by and commenting!! : )
Great group of books, Midnight Embrace especially looks enticingly gothic.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jaime!
DeleteGlad you like them! As for "Midnight Embrace", yes, it does look 'enticingly gothic'. I like the way you put it! But I would say that of the older cover. I don't like the new cover much. But you should give this book a try; Amanda Ashley writes great vampire romances! The sex is not overly graphic, which is one of the things I like about her books.
Thanks so much for commenting back!! : )
I haven't heard of any of these books! I hope that you enjoy them though. Thank you for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteHi, Chrissi!
DeleteYou might have heard of "Foretold" in an indirect way -- it's the fourth book in the Demon Trappers series. If you haven't, though, I highly recommend this series!
I also recommend Amanda Ashley's vampire romances! She's one of my faves, and I want to re-read the two above. Hope you give her a try!
As for the other books, I LOVE Star Trek (the original series) and The Twilight Saga, so these were definite must-reads!! And the Linnea Sinclair book looks great, so I grabbed it, too!
You're very welcome for my visit! Thanks for commenting back!! : )
