From page 56:
"It wasn't until I was in here, when I had all the time in the world, that I found out what you really were," she went on, her eyes hardening and her voice strengthening with conviction. " I read book after book searching for an explanation for you. In an old book on fairy tales, I found out what kind of parasite you truly are -- a changeling."

I think that this Friday 56 is a great idea. If I had more time I would participate.
ReplyDeleteI find the above quote to be very interesting! It is amazing that it is almost random. I hope that you will post commentary on this book.
That is also a great book cover!
Hey, brian!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea, too, and it would be nice if you were able to participate!
I had to look through some books until I found a quote I REALLY liked. I think this one would make any fantasy lover want to pick up this book! I will of course read and review it when I get a chance.
The cover might look familiar to you -- I used it for one of my "Shelf Candy Saturday" posts, some time back.
As always, thank you SO much for commenting!! :)
Awesome 56. YOu get a sense of how betrayed she feels and slightly disgusted, in that moment.
ReplyDeleteOoh, Amanda Hocking?
