  3. Happy blogoversary Maria! Time does indeed fly. I am so glad that you have kept up your blogs for so long. They are among the best bookish places on the internet! You posts are always superb, even when you blog about books that I would not normally read. Plus A Night's Dream of Books is so visually impressive!

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi, Brian!

Thank you SO much!! Yes, Time does fly by SO FAST!! But these have been some WONDERFUL seven years!!

Thanks SO MUCH for the compliments on my blogs!! You are ALWAYS so NICE!! Your kind words have encouraged me throughout the years, ever since we met on the blogosphere!

I'm also happy that you love the visual aspect of "A Night's Dream of Books", too!! I feel that this is just as important for a blog as the content. Some people don't like light text on a dark background, though. These same people don't like a lot of images on a blog, either. But I do what makes ME happy! I LOVE light text on a dark background! And your own blog also has this design feature, which I think is GREAT! I also LOVE having lots of images on my blog. That's just the way I am. I'm a VERY visual person, as you know!

Thanks for sharing this journey right along with me, Brian! Although I didn't meet you until some time after I had started this blog, I GREATLY appreciate all of your support throughout the years! After all, half the fun of blogging is interacting with one's readers. So again, THANK YOU for being a regular commenter, and with such INTERESTING comments, too!!

Hope you have a great weekend, too!! (Well, the one coming up, lol, as this reply is late, for which I do apologize!) <3 :)

  4. Happy blog anniversary, first of all!! *throws confetti*
I think I'd go for In Other Lands, by Sarah Rees Brennan, because I folowed it in installments on her LJ and loved it ever since. If I've acquired it by then, I'd most probably go for The Captive prince (for the same reason ;))

    1. Hi, Kate!

THANK YOU!! Yeah let's throw some confetti around!! YAAAAAYY!!!! :) :) :)

You know, I had never heard of "In Other Lands", but I've just checked it on Goodreads, and it turns out that it's about mermaids! Sounds GREAT! I LOVE mermaid books!! How NICE that you followed it in installments, too!!

I haven't found "The Captive Prince". Hmmm... Is that by the same author? Well, anyway, you'll get whatever book you want, if you're the winner!

      Thanks for commenting!! <3 :)

    1. Hi, Keeana!

Thank you!! Yes, I can't believe it's been SEVEN years already!! :) :)

I would not be interested in reading about any professional assassins, so I would definitely pass on "Godsgrave". Too creepy for me! But I AM interested in "Frostblood". However, if you win, and pick "Godsgrave", OF COURSE I'll send it to you! :)

      Thanks for commenting!! <3 <3 :) :)

    1. As for your question.... I don't know yet to be honest XD On one hand, i'd love to win a hardback of the first ACOTAR book (but you don't really like this serie if I remember right) to complete my set (I already have the paperback versionsand 2 books out of 3 in hardback XD)... On the other hand, I'd also love to get Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa,I love its cover *.*

    2. Hi, Sandrine!

Thank you SO much!! You're so sweet!! And you're VERY welcome for the giveaway!! <3 <3

If you want the ACOTAR hardback, I'll send it to you. I wasn't completely happy with it, as I feel it is really a New Adult book, NOT a YA book. Also, there's one thing the female protagonist does that I didn't think was at all necessary, and she shouldn't have done it. But if you want this book, I will be more than happy to send it to you, if you're the winner! :)

I've just checked out "Rhapsodic" on Goodreads, and it looks SO interesting! GREAT choice!!

      Thanks so much for lovely comment!! HUGS!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)

  14. SEVEN YEARS!! If I ever accomplish that great milestone with my blog, I'll consider myself a really, really lucky woman :O

Not only your blog is amazing and one of my favorites, but also you're a wonderful blogger and the sweetest person! ^^ I've said this before, and I'll say it again: one really wants to continue reading and visiting a blog if the person behind every post takes the time to read the comments and replies to them. I know some people genuinely don't have time to do this, but well, as a reader, I appreciate this. You truly care about us, your readers, and that's something we all appreciate. You always reply to our comments, and you include us in every topic that you discuss, which is so lovely! For example, I'd never talked about beautiful covers in detail before, but here, with your "Shelf Candy Saturday" posts, I have the chance to do it, and I love it! Congratulations on seven years, my friend!! I'm really, really happy for you and your blog! ♥ ♥ ♥

Aaaand, thank you for this kind giveaway! - although I think we are the ones that should be sending you tons of books, but well... ;) As for the book I'd choose if I won... Any book would be perfect, as I'd receive it close to my birthday ahaha Lovely present, right? :) There's one book I'm dying to have, and that is the MinaLima edition of The Jungle Book. Why? If you haven't heard about this particular edition, my friend, please, google it straight away. And get ready for the beauty of it. And when I say beauty, I mean... REAL BEAUTY ♥ ♥ I'd definitely pick that one!

It'll take you forever to read this comment, my apologies! I wish you nothing but the best, María, and I really hope you continue blogging for many more years. And also, I hope to get to know you more! I really love chatting with you, my friend! =D

Te mando un abrazo gigante, y muchas, pero muchas felicidades por este nuevo aniversario del blog =D ¡Todo lo mejor para ti, María!

    1. Hi, Antonela!

Oh, what a WONDERFUL comment!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your kind, sweet words!!

I believe very strongly that it's EXTREMELY important to interact with one's blog readers. I always try to at least comment back (I actually concentrate on that first), but then I also like to reply to comments left on my own posts. I know it's time-consuming, but it's really worth it! We can all get to know the NICEST people, such as YOU!! ♥ ♥ ♥

I LOVE to invite readers to interact with me I GREATLY enjoy discussing topics with my them, whether it's on my book cover posts, or any other post on my blog. I also like to include them in my posts, even if it's just to mention that I found a particular book on their blog. Heck, this is part of what makes blogging SO rewarding!!

Thank you for the congrats, Antonela!! And you're very welcome for the giveaway, as well!!

I have checked out the book you want, thanks to Google, and it really IS a beauty! So I'll be more than happy to send it down to Argentina if you happen to be the winner!! And I think I'll order a copy for myself, too!! Lol.

I sure hope to be blogging for as long as I possibly can!! Maybe even from the nursing home! Lol.

I would like to get to know you more, too! I do need to stay in touch with you more frequently, and I apologize for not having done so..... :(

THANKS AGAIN for this lovely, lovely comment, my friend!!

Good luck to you! You're very welcome for the giveaway!! And thanks to YOU for participating!! <3 <33
