Heidi Klum tends to have the absolute best costumes!
ReplyDeleteHi, Jaime!
DeleteYeah, I just did a quick Google search and saw some of her costumes. I LOVE some them, but others, not su much. I don't like the one where she made herself look like an old lady. But, overall, they ARE GREAT!
Thanks for entering the giveaway, and leaving a comment!! :)
My fav costume I ever wore was when one year I was so busy making by hand my husband and son's costumes I had no time to make one for me. We were throwing a costume party that year. So at the last minute I wrapped myself up in toilet paper and dressed as a mummy.
ReplyDeleteHi, Deedles!
DeleteOh, that must have been SO FUNNY!! I'm sure everyone got a blast from it! Lol. I'm glad you were able to dress up!

Oh... You see, we don't celebrate Halloween in my country - I know, it's ridiculous! So answering this question is really hard for me, because I could pick every single costume!!! ♥ I love this time of the year, even though I can't do all the things I'd love to do, but well... A costume I've always loved is the bloody bride ahaha Or a witch - kind of like the Hocus Pocus' witches :D Have a lovely and spooky Halloween, Maria!! And thank you for this giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Antonela!
DeleteYeah, very country has different customs. Halloween is not celebrated in every country. I'm not sure, but I think that the only Hispanic country that celebrates something similar is Mexico, with "El Dia de los Muertos".
The bloody bride is your favorite costume? Ooooooh, CREEPY! I'm sure that costume has he desired effect of really scaring people!
I'm not familiar with the Hocus Pocus witches. I'll have to look them up.
I hope you have a lovely and spooky time on Halloween night, even though it's not celebrated in your country!
You're very welcome for the giveaway! And thank YOU for entering and leaving such a lovely comment!! :)
Yes, I think you're right! Here in Argentina, every single shop remembers Halloween, but only because people love buying masks and all that stuff, and they need to sell ahaha But we don't celebrate it the way it's celebrated, say, in the US - no trick or treat, no costumes, no pumpkins... We have NOTHING :( But well.
DeleteCheck the Hocus Pocus witches, I'm sure you've seen that movie. It's a classic! :D Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the witches!!
:)
PS: for Halloween, I'm planning on watching some horror movies and stuffing my mouth with tons of candies. Sounds spooky enough to me! xD What do you think?
OMG, you're SO funny!! I hope you enjoyed the movies and all that candy!! Lol.
DeleteTo be honest, I don't like the horror genre at all. But I think the Hocus Pocus witches might be well worth watching. Hopefully, there will be some comedy in this movie. I'll be sure to check it out!
Thanks again for entering the giveaway, and for your WONDERFUL comments!! <3 :)
My ex went as a monk one year. We made the entire robe and everything.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the awesome giveaway, Maria! We don't really dress up for Halloween, but I guess my favorite would be the Piglet costume that my mom made for Mckenzie for Book Character Day when she was little. It was precious! Hope you have a wonderful week! Big HUGS! <3<3<3
ReplyDeleteHi, Michele!
DeleteYou're very welcome!!
Oooooh, that Piglet costume sounds SO cute and adorable!! I wish I could see a picture of Mckenzie dressed up in it! I LOVE the idea of having a "Book Character Day"!! That's a GREAT, INNOVATIVE way to encourage kids to read!! I'm sure she -- as well as you -- had a FANTASTIC time!!
Hope you guys have a wonderful week, as well!! Thanks for entering the giveaway, and leaving such an AWESOME comment!!! BIG HUGS BACK!!!!! <3 :)

ReplyDeleteHi, Mandy!
DeleteOh, I LOVE that costume! I would love to wear it some Halloween!
Thanks for entering the giveaway, and commenting!! :)
I had a few very memorable ones when I was younger. My mom would sew for me. One year I was a genie with a blue vest and veil and gold lame pants. Another year I was the Queen of Hearts, but not from Wonderland. And one year I made my own and it was probably the last time I went trick or treating: a bag of jelly belly jelly beans.
ReplyDeleteHi, Cynthia!
DeleteWhat a GREAT collection of costumes! LOVE them all!!
Thans for entering the giveaway and commenting!! :)

I made my sister and her boyfriend gangster costumes one year. Black fedoras, white roses on lapels, pinstriped skirt and pinstriped pants, pinstriped vest for male, pinstriped jacket for girl, both had cigars. It was classy and cool, lol :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Jan!
DeleteOh, hey, Bonnie & Clyde for Halloween! How COOL is that? And you made them yourself! Well KUDOS to you, girl!!
Thanks for entering the giveaway, and leaving a comment!! :)
When I was 11 I had no idea what to do for Halloween and no funds available. A friend just r3eturned from Korea. He brought back a Geisha dress and hair ornament. He insisted on me wearing it that night. His sister fixed my hair and did my makeup. I felt like a true Geisha "Princess"! I will never forget that generosity. I hated the night to end.
ReplyDeleteHi, LA!
DeleteGosh, that sounds SO LOVELY!! I would really enjoy dressing up as a Geisha! KUDOS to your friend! Thanks to him, you have a GREAT Halloween! It's so WONDERFUL to have friends like that! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for entering the giveaway, and leaving such a TERRIFIC comment!! :)

Thanks for entering the giveaway, and commenting!! :)
Hi Maria! :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't get dressed for Halloween here in Croatia (but we do that in February), and I dn't dress anymore, but when I did, my favorite mask was when I was geisha.
Hi, Irena!
DeleteI know of one religion in which the people kind of dress up in February -- Judaism. The holiday is called "Purim". But Jewish people don't dress up completely on that holiday. They only wear masks.
Thanks for entering the giveaway, and leaving a nice comment!! :)
Halloween doesn't get celebrated that much here in Belgium with dressing up and stuff but I like any bookish costumes of characters like Harry Potter etc :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Stephanie!
DeleteAw, that's too bad that people don't dress up for Halloween in Belgium. However, I'm SO glad you love costumes based on the characters from the Harry Potter series!! I have my own HP costume -- the robe, sweater vest, tie, and illuminated wand!!
Thanks for entering the giveaway, and commenting!! :)
Mu favorite costume ever was dressing up as Cleopatra my Freshman year in college. My friend and I dressed up and went haunted housing. :o)
ReplyDeleteHi, there!
DeleteIt sure sounds like you guys had a LOT of fun! Cleopatra is a nice, exotic costume to wear!

ReplyDeleteMy sons werewolf costume when he was in grade school. WE used fur and spirit gum, glued it to his face and arms, looked amazingly scary
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of Thriller, by Michael Jackson: I watch that videoclip every single Halloween - it's like a personal tradition ahaha. And ever since I watch it for the first time, the ZOMBIE costume has always been my favorite!!

ReplyDelete~ KateS
Snow White was my favorite costume. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was the senorita costume my mom had passed on to me.
ReplyDeleteI had this awesome Eeyore costume for my 2nd son when he was a toddler. I wish I still had it, but I donated it about 10 years ago (before having 3 more children). It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe favorite costume I ever wore was an angel's costume.
ReplyDeleteA witch for me
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was when I dressed as Elvira Mistress of the dark.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose a favorite from all the costumes I've ever seen, because I've seen so many great ones, and I know I'll not think about many of them! One favorite I remember from a few years ago was a zombie Dorothy (Wizard of Oz).
ReplyDeleteI loved my sons soul reaper costume for this year.
