Thick as Thieves is the eagerly anticipated new stand-alone novel set in the world of the Queen’s Thief. New York Times-bestselling author Megan Whalen Turner’s entrancing and award-winning Queen’s Thief novels bring to life the world of the epics and feature one of the most charismatic and incorrigible characters of fiction, Eugenides the thief. Megan Whalen Turner’s Queen’s Thief novels are rich with political machinations and intrigue, battles lost and won, dangerous journeys, divine intervention, power, passion, revenge, and deception. Perfect for fans of Leigh Bardugo, Marie Lu, Patrick Rothfuss, and George R. R. Martin.

Why I can't wait for this one!

This novel sounds highly compelling, and it looks like it has a touch of humor, as well. Since it's being compared to the works of the terrific authors mentioned above, it's definitely going to be AWESOME! Plus, this series has garnered several awards! Sounds great to me! (And, oh, yeah....I need to get to the first 4 books! Lol.)

You can check out the rest of the
books in the series at

  1. Hi Maria.

I have heard of this series and I just Googled it. It looks like there are a few books in it.I like the fact that the description indicates that it mixes politics with fantasy.

I also like the cover art used in the entire series.

    Have a great week!

    1. Hi, Brian!

I hadn't heard of this series myself until last night, when I was searching for a book to feature today. I think the plot of this books sounds fascinating, especially since it has a very unique central character. Also, the mix of politics with fantasy is certainly compelling. Once upon a time, I wouldn't have liked such a mix, but now, in light of what's going on in this country, I definitely do!

Yes, the cover art for all of the books is really good!!

Hope you have a great week, too!! Thanks for the nice comment!! :) :) :)

  3. I'll admit it is overwhelming to think this is book #5 and I've never read or heard of the series before. I don't know if I will consider picking this one up but I do love the cover and agree it sounds very interesting. Good luck in starting this series and I hope you love it!

    1. Hi, Barb!

I just discovered this one myself last night! I came across it on Goodreads, and was pulled in by the great cover. Then I read the synopsis, liked it and decided to feature the book today!

I know it's daunting to think that this is Book 5. However, the synopsis states that it's a stand alone, so that's good news! I might plunge into this one first, lol.

Thanks for the nice comment!! Happy Wednesday to you and the boys!! HUGS!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
