At the end of Dark Tide, Book 3 in the Waterfire Saga, Astrid leaves her mermaid friends to confront her ancestor, Orfeo, the evil force behind the rise of the monster Abbadon. Orfeo possesses one of the six talismans that the merls need in order to keep the monster locked up forever. But without the ability to songcast, how will Astrid be able to defeat the most powerful mage in history? Meanwhile, Serafina and her Black Fins train goblin troops for battle against her uncle Vallerio's death riders. Will Sera ever see her beloved home--and her beloved Mahdi--again, or will the Volneros take over the mer realms while Orfeo takes on the gods themselves? Nothing less than the fate of the underwater world is at stake in this breathtaking finale.

Why I'm waiting on this one!

I love stories dealing with mer people, so
this novel immediately captured
my attention!
The plot sounds absolutely fascinating,
as well, and now I've found a new
series to love!!
I need to get the first three books and
read them so I can then get to this
one, but I don't mind....by then, I'm sure
this novel will have been released.
I was so sorry to discover that
the cover above is not final.....I sure do
hope they keep it, though, because
        I think it's GORGEOUS!!!

What do you think of my choice?
Leave your link below, so I can
come check out your pick(s)!

  1. I never got into this series but the first three covers sure are gorgeous. I haven't read a lot of books about mermaids and such, so I don't know if they would really interest me. I do hope you love this series and once I hear your thoughts, who knows, maybe I will give it a go too!
