This novel has obviously been influenced
by the Harry Potter and Narnia books,
yet, is very original.
I love the synopsis, and besides,
the reviews are overwhelmingly positive!

This is the sequel to the book above.
I was lucky enough to get
a signed copy of this one, as well!!

  3. As usual the books that you acquire are look so good.

I looked up some of De Lint's work on Amazon. His Newford stories look to be really offbeat and fun. Have you read many of these stories?

    1. Hey, Brian!

To be honest, I've only read one short story collection of his, titled "Dream Underfoot". All the stories are about a fictional town named Newford, located somewhere in North America. Just from that one book, De Lint became one of my favorite writers! He's THAT good!! I know you'll really enjoy reading these stories, so I heartily recommend them to you. And I intend to read more of his books, when I find the time!
