Here's my choice for this week!

Why do I love this cover?

Images of passionate lovers on book covers are nothing new, but they're among those things that somehow, never get old.  We die-hard romantics can't get enough of them!

This cover is a particularly magical one!   The lovers are staring intently at each other while they desperately clutch each other.  They are surrounded by a brilliant white light blinking with little stars, and they are in the middle of a blue-shadowed forest grove.  The mood is totally otherworldly.

I love the blue in the background, of course, but I also love that red dress!  It billows out to take up most of the bottom of the cover, and it goes very nicely with the blue, as well as the young man's dark suit.

I also love the font used for the title; it echoes the movement of the dress so well!  The swirly scroll behind it adds to the loveliness, too.  This is truly an enchanted, as well as enchanting, cover!

The highly talented artist responsible
for this GORGEOUS cover is

Sorry I missed last week, other things getting in the way of blogging at the moment.Love doing the meme, it has made me more aware of good design. Love that you are so perceptive and articulate on design. Hopefully I won't miss it again.

    1. Hey, Arabella!

This cover makes me think of fairy tales, too. You describe it very well -- it IS "a dreamy cover"! I ADORE it!!

Oh, don't worry about missing occasionally. That's the way it is, sometimes. I haven't been able to put up my "Stacking The Shelves" post today, because of some things I had to do.

I'm so glad you enjoy participating! And thank you so much for the compliment! I LOVE art!! In fact, I was an art major in college. I have channeled my frustrated artist into this blog. So yes, I am very much aware of good design.

Thanks for your lovely comment, and for participating in "Shelf Candy Saturday"!! : )
