Waiting On Wednesday #28: Dark Storm, by Sarah Singleton

This is a weekly book meme, hosted by
which features future releases that we book bloggers
are eagerly anticipating!

Here's my pick for
this week!!

Trade Paperback, 352 pages
Simon & Schuster Children's Books
Expected Release Date:
March 29, 2012
Genre: YA Paranormal Romance

From the Goodreads Synopsis

Ellie is staying with her maternal grandparents for the summer, while her recently bereaved dad takes off on holiday with his new girlfriend. Upset by his apparent callousness, missing her mother, and jealous for her dad's attention, she begins to spiral into depression. Her grandparents suggest she join a local theatre group, to meet people her own age and get away from the dark thoughts that threaten to engulf her. But then she...actually sees a real ghost. Now a spirit is contacting her from beyond the grave - and as the dead boy's story unfolds, Ellie finds herself falling in love with him. But if she solves his mystery and helps release his soul, will he be lost to her forever?

The first thing that pulled me in
was this incredible cover!
I first saw this book in a Shelf Candy
post one Saturday,
and just fell in love with this
gorgeous, gorgeous cover!!
I mean...look at all that blue!!!
(Actually, it's more like aqua or
turquoisse, but still...)
Oh, that turbulent sea, thrashing at
the foot of the cliff!!
The wind tossing her hair,
and...that mysterious face in the clouds...

This plot sounds fabulous, too!
All that supernatural angst!!

In short, I LOVE it!

Well, I suppose March will be here
in no time at all...right?

What books are you all
waiting on this week?
